Pippa Small
London-based jeweler Pippa Small has been making jewelry since she was a child and was always finding pebbles, beads, and shells to string onto her ever-growing collection of bracelets. Gathering, collecting, and creating jewelry was like a tactile diary of her existence, the pieces came to represent memories, emotions, and people. She works with the Prince of Wales’s arts charity, Turquoise Mountain to preserve tradition, and pass on heritage through craft and design but also to provide livelihood training and sustainable jobs in vulnerable areas such as Afghanistan, Myanmar, Jordan, and India, as well as Fair, mined gold from Bolivia.
